She is officially mine!! I finally achieved my lifelong dream of owning a horse!! It was an intresting day though. I went to tractor supply and looked at some horse things. I got a few last minute things and then went to my riding school to pay my trainer the commission of LuLu. After that, me and my fiance went to Coney Island to eat dessert and distract me from the day ahead. Then finally we went to the barn where I was buying her from. When we got there, the seller (LP) wasn't there yet, so I enjoyed watching LuLu in the field for a bit. Then the trailer guy (TJ) came and we waited a bit longer. Finally LP arrived. Money switched hands and TJ was bringing LuLu onto the trailer. LuLu, MY horse! I was so excited that instead of a handshake, I hugged LP. And home we went! It was a stressful trip to the new barn, but when we finally got there, we were all happy again. LuLu got some stall time. And then I took her around the barn, letting her get used to the place she now called home. I then let her out in the arena for a bit of wondering time. I took her out to the middle of the arena and let her go. I was expecting her to bolt or trot or something. What I was not expecting is her to follow me to the gate. She just followed me around the arena. She's a puppy dog horse!!! I let her have her time alone for a bit and she just stood there where I was sitting, waiting for me to come back in. She wasn't interested in the free time. So I brought her in. She saw her stall and completely spun around and tried to trot back to the arena. She isn't a stall horse. Great. So after a couple of tries, I finally get her into her stall. But she tried to follow me out. Silly LuLu! I left there happy and excited for tomorrow!
